Website Status:

The day after taking the photos, I learned that an article about the fawns and the photographer would be in the Gazette a week later on 22 June. The next day I decided to respond to queries about prints being available by setting up this website.

My days since have been filled with setting up the new domain, selecting pictures, and developing content to tell the story about the fawns in particular.  My neighborhood is a great location for photographing urban wildlife, so I have great collections of bunnies, hummingbirds, and deer.  I decided to offer one set of bunny pictures, as well.

I haven't yet had the time to learn the vagaries of setting up an e-commerce site with ordering with credit cards.  That will come later, but not before the newspaper deadline. So I'm starting this with the same procedures I've used to sell my autographed novels over the years at jimmiehbutler.com.  I can accept orders by snail-mail to the address below.

These unique sets currently include: Newborn Deer 1; Newborn Deer 2; and Newborn Deer 3.  Each is a set of ten 4-by-6 prints made from images of much higher quality than those I use on the site to illustrate the pictures offered in the 4 sets.

The price for each set is $40, which includes the ten prints, shipping/handling and any applicable sales taxes.

Bunnies 1 is set of ten 4 by-6 prints priced at $40 per set.

While these should show nicely in a 4-by-6 frame or matted in a larger frame, one of my advisors told me I needed to offer 8-by-10s, as well.  I have printed out a few samples to make sure they look good at that size.  They do!  In some you can see sunlight on individual hairs, so the detail is nice in the larger size.  So, if interest is there, I likely will work on adding the larger prints in July.

Make up a list of the sets you wish to purchase and send that with a check made out to Cricket Press LLC. For orders from outside the United States, send a money order in US dollars, at $42 per set for the newborn deer or $42 for Bunnies 1.                                                                                                                             .

These photographs are copyrighted by the author, so reproduction of the prints is not authorized.
